# Kastani Beach
Kastani beach became worldwide known from the movie “Mamma Mia“. It is located 21 km from the country of Skopelos. It is a beach with pine trees and beautiful clear waters. It is considered some years now one of the most organized beach of the island and has many amenities such as the Kastani bar.’It is approximately 24 minutes from the port of Skopelos by car.
# Panormos Beach
Panormos beach is one of the most popular and crowded beaches of Skopelos and one of the most beautiful beaches of the Aegean Sea.It is located 12.3 km from the country and is an organized beach that also has a lifeguard.
Along the beach there are many apartments, hotels and restaurants and it’s surrounded by a beautiful pine forest.
Panorama beach has three great characteristics 1) the water quickly deepens so although you are just next to the shore you can enjoy your bath, 2) next to Panormos beach is the natural harbor Blo which is considered one of the most beautiful spots, truly unique, in terms of natural beauty and 3) this point offers one of the most beautiful sunsets on the island.
# Stafilos Beach
On the south side of the island are the most beaches of Skopelos. As you travel south 4km from the town of the island the first beach someone will meet is Stafylos, one of the most famous and popular beaches of the island, which was named by King Stafylos.
Stafilos is a sandy beach with clear waters, it is organized with a beach bar and a lifeguard. Above the beach there is a restaurant with good food. You can access Stafilos beach by bus or by car (it is 7 minutes from the island’s port).
# Milia Beach
Milia is considered by many the most beautiful beach on the island. It is large and organized with umbrellas, sun beds and a beach bar. It could be called exotic because it has small pebbles and crystal clear turquoise waters.
A special feature of this beach is that a rock divides the coast in the middle, the left side attracts more people, while the right is more quiet. At the opposite side of Milia you can see the small, green island of Dasia.
The distance from Skopelos Town (Port) is 14.7 km and by car it’s about 21 minutes far.
# Hovolo Beach
Hovolo beach is one of the favorite ones of the island, it has white rocks and wonderful waters. It is located after Kastani beach and is 18.8 km from the town of Skopelos. When you reach the end of the beach, on your left, you have to cross in the water a little bit, in order to go behind the large rock.
So, Skopelos is one of the best destinations in Greece.
